"CUPID & VENUS" pattern with cupid and woman in a cameo is the pattern is the pattern made by Richard & Hartley, Flint Glass Co. of Pennsylvania. circa 1875-1884 This pattern was also known as "GUARDIAN ANGEL". This is a true antique, being produced over 100 years ago! Beautiful piece of early American pattern glass! EAPG

No chips or cracks! This piece is crystal clear with a crisp mould strike. Rim and base edges are smooth. Sits flat with the slightest tip. There is a tiny bit of "extra glass" protruding slightly from the mould lines in two places on each side, this is part of the pattern. Tiny bit of grey grit in rim if you look very closely. These very minor flaws and shear lines are common in this type of old glass. Hard to find in this condition!
