This is an antique unmarked stretch glass compote. These footed compotes with the cupped edge were made from the base of the covered bonbon base. The Northwood, Fenton and Dugan/Diamond cupped compotes are nearly identical but I am pretty sure this is Northwood. H. Northwood & Co. was one of the major makers of stretch glass from 1916 to 1925.
The Northwood bottom has the rounded, rough panel junctions, a thick base stem with straight panel lines at the stem according to the "ID Value Guide for American Stretch Glass" by Madeley and Shetlar which I have used for reference.
CONDITION: Excellent Condition with no chips or cracks. No obvious scratches from use. There are really tiny enclosed bubbles, some straw marks and an occasional sand particle as is expected for stretch glass of this era.
* SIZE is 3-3/4 inches tall 4-1/8 inch opening. 3-1/2 inch diameter base. About 4-3/4 inches wide. * WEIGHT is about 14.5 ounces.
